Meeting with the Chief Engineer of Dhaka North City Corporation

B-SCAN had a meeting with the Chief Engineer Brig. Gen. Mr. Sayeed Anwarul Islam of Dhaka North City Corporation at his office on 4 April, 2017. We have submitted our recommendations to make the footpath usable for persons with disabilities. Especially for persons with visual disability, we have provided some materials on Tactile tiles so that they could use it properly.
During the meeting Chief Engineer admitted that they have put wrong tiles at some footpaths as they didnt know about it before. But from now new constructions will use the proper tactiles. He was very cordial to listen to our recommendations. Superintend Engineer Md. Mr. Sharif Uddin was also present at the meeting.
